The Israeli army invited journalists to view the drone at a time when various countries are showing concern over Iran's growing nuclear capabilities. The 'Heron' drone is 12 meters long with a 16 meter wingspan and can fly for more than 24 hours at an altitude of 30,000 feet. An Israeli Air Force major who briefed the journalists stressed that the drone could go 'where Israeli needed it to go,' but refused to elaborate further or give exact distances the craft was able to fly, but did say it could not be refuelled in flight. Τουρκικό μη επανδρωμένο αεροσκάφος UAV πέταξε πάνω από την Κανδελιούσσα, στα Δωδεκαννήσα, στα 19.000 πόδια, σήμερα στις 10:14 το πρωί.
Σύμφωνα με το ΓΕΕΘΑ, το αεροσκάφος αναγνωρίστηκε και αναχαιτίστηκε με βάση τους διεθνείς κανόνες κατά πάγια τακτική.
Υπενθυμίζεται ότι το μεσημέρι της Παρασκευής η Τουρκία πραγματοποίησε διπλή υπερπτήση πάνω από δύο νησιά.
